The word “camber” literally means to curve or to arch. It’s an architecture and engineering term used to describe how beams and bridges may be curved to impart increased stability and structural integrity. A cambered beam is the product of intention, design, and problem-solving to ensure long-term stability. By naming our firm Camber, we wanted a name that embodied the approach to our practice.
